Cherry blossoms in Spring, Red leaves in Autumn,
and ever green pine trees are famous plants in Kenrokuen Park.
I insist one more plant. It's of cousre "SATSUKI".
Around of Kasumigaike-Pond, it's one of the view point Kenrokuen Park,
We can see many planting of "SATSUKI" trees.
Now they are trimmed every branch and just-matched to beautiful pond.
The slanting surface of old guard ditch, outside of the park,
There are many "SATSUKI" too.These are KENGAI form.

The "HYAKUMANNGOKU" Festival was held in full bloom of "SATSUKI" this year.
Biggest event of this Festival is Daimyo procession. The parade were going
around full bloom of "SATSUKI".
In this winter, It had been continued some of low temperature days.
It delayed about 10days full bloom of "SATSUKI" blossoms.
Fortunatly it just matched the period of fullbloom "SATSUKI" and HYAKUMANNGOKU Festival.
It was very rare case.
The famous actor HIDEKI TAKAHASHI came and act
as historical master TOSHIIE MAEDA.
I dare to say the "SATSUKI" flowers also sent cheer from behind the Daimyo procession.
