The Wolfe Pack announced on December 03 at the Black Orchid Banquet in New York City that Louise Penny won the 2011 Nero Wolfe Award for BURY YOUR DEAD (Minotaur Books).
Ellis Peters Historical Award Winner
The Crime Writers' Assoication of Britatin (CWA) has announced on November 30 in London that Andrew Martin won the 2011 Ellis Peters Historical Award for THE SOMME STATIONS (Farber & Farber), featuring early 20th-century railway detective Jim Stringer.
T. Jefferson Parker Award Winner
The Southern California Independent Booksellers Association (SCIBA) announced the winners of the 2011 book awards on October 22 in Long Beach, California. The SCIBA book award in the mystery/thriller category is named the T. Jefferson Parker Book Award and its 2011 winner is SAVAGE by Don Winslow's SAVAGES (Simon & Schuster).

Hammett Prize Winner
The North American Branch of the International Association of Crime Writers (IACW/NA) announced that Olen Steinhauer won the 2011 Hammett Prize for THE NEAREST EXIT (St. Martin's/Minotaur). He was awarded a bronze trophy on September 20 during the New Atlantic Independent Booksellers Associations' (NAIBA) Fall Conference in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
