We made radish-nabe which was talked about on the other BBS. It was crisp and plain, good!

Today we cook rice using the same ingredients which we make miso soup yesterday. It's autumn.

Although the moon hide itself behind the clouds, it's a something faintly light at a night with a full moon.

Our refrigerator ware full to the various vegetables and mushrooms which Tomi and Peco bought at Nozawa spa.

There were many dishes on dinner's table which Yoshie gave us.

Today's menu is only Poco. Tomi and Peco on an overnight trip to Nozawa-spa with Uriko. They'll report in a few days.

As we had gohan and various diehes which we cooked yesterday, we were able to eat all day without cooking.

DINNER (Peco and Poco) at Okonomiyaki restaurant --- Okonomiyaki (a thin, flat cake of unsweetened batter fried with various ingredients) | fried udon noodles | grilled asparagus rolled with bacon | beer

fig compote which was present taste sweet lightly and so nice nothing but hand-made.

Oyaki (bun) which was given from our friend convenient as not only between-meals but also side dish.

It was splendid brunch with Uriko.

Speaking of the autumn taste, rice cooked with Japanese chestnut appear on the table at last. There are many dishes which Peco cooked by her full power holiday brunch.

As I got a beef shank which was made preparations already, I put whole peeled potato, roughly cut onion and bay leaf, and stewed.

BETWEEN-MEALS --- poppy seeds cake of pineapple and cranberry | coffee
DINNER (Tomi) at soba noodles restaurant --- soba noodles with vegetables tempura

Although it falls far short of that of the home Kagawa, freezed udon noodles is easy and not bad.

It is the best way to bring out sweetness from pumpkin that you simmer over very low flame.

We use regularly an earthenware pot and lapis lazuli plat which in the photo.

When I got a lot of pear, I made compote using them. Today I set jelly its liquids ans made two color jelly with milk jelly.

Hand-made tofu is easy set that you mix soymilk and bittern and only steam. But newly made one is good.

We reach Septmber after all without weariness from the heat. It's a autumn of appetite, but it's awful that we gain more appetite.
