Grilled squid stuffed with arms and welsh onion
This cooking is more tasty with fully welsh onion. As Yasuko-san did not like welsh onion when she was young and did not like this cooking, too. But now her taste is changed, it become her favorite dish.
- 3 Japanese common squid
- 1 welsh onion
- ginger as big as thumb
- sugar, miso, salt
- Take the arm and guts out of squid, wash inside.
- Boil the water, put a pinch of salt, boil the arm quickly, cut it fine.
- Cut welsh onion fine.
- Put (2) and (3) into bowl, add squeezed juice from grated ginger, and 1/2 tablespoons sugar, 1 tablespoon miso.
- Stuff (4) into squid, fasten off with toothpick.
- Grill (5) both side.
